I have in car adj Rancho's on my J Top and I blow them up for hiway control and drop pressures for artic,so I can run no front or rear swaybars

jtop, sorry it sounded like you were going to remove a bolt from your trailing arms cause there was no mention of swaybars till just then. Mate rip it off, on our models its small as to start with and barely notice it off.

I have been running without swaybars for the last couple of weeks with the same shock setup.
It can be done but sharp corners make you a little bit nervous. Once Frank gets into gear and get the articulators moving I will put the front back in. (Slightly modified of course)
I was staying out of this conversation till I totally understood what was going on. Was under the same impression as you RR (removing bolts from trailing arms )

Yeah but what about when you are in an accident and they see the swaybars removed? especially if its a roll over...
Would unbolting it from one side do the same job? I mean, unbolt when offroad (takes a few minutes), only one side where it attached to the chassis rails and then bolt back on for the drive home.
Just updated my insurance policy to a 35K agreed. Listed all my mods and they were pretty ok about it. Not sure how i would get on if they found out swaybars were removed.
I didnt care on my old one, only a 15K truck but now the stakes are a little higher.
