Hi,
I have been looking to buy a 2005 GLX-R Triton turbo diesel and was wondering if anyone could give me any feedback on what these are like off road?
Also what modifications have been done to them, if any?
Thanks
BJ

Re: 2005 MK GLX-R Triton Turbo Diesel
I have a GLX model, same year, same details single cab.
Been off road in my ute, pretty good for a stock car if you are doing some touring, nothing too hardcore.
With a better tyres, I have fitted Goodyear Wrangler 31x10.5 R15 and it goes better upward a slippy hill.
Downside, the crossmember under the car does get a good knocking around so getting it lifted would make it better in the end.
Yeah for the suspension, its a bit stiff but smooth driving in the front end as its a bit soft ride, the rear is on left springs, so it doesn't go downward much, bit stiff thou.
I'd still keep my ute as i use it for other purpose. decent on driving around private property doing some work.
hope i give you enough info
