Mate i have a spartan in the back of mine. I run 35 centipedes with a 2.4 diesel. Its been great. sometimes it binds up if you turn a corner and stop while turning then take off and it has abit of a pop but i have heard they all do that. I went out on the weekend and it worked a treat, you wouldnt even know its there minus the HUGE amount of extra traction and casual tyre chirp on road! hope this helps, and as for the price well thumbs up hey

Mate mine was a daily for alittle bit with the locker. like i said if you adjust your driving style and remember it is there you shouldnt have any problems, infact it should increase the strength of the diff slightly.

I got mine off ebay!!!

Make sure you check out the sellers reviews and that sorta crap to make sure they are ok but mate at the moment is the time to buy with the exchange!

hope this helps

I was just on the Locktup4x4 website, looking at lockers.
I noticed that the Spartan Locker is on there for $350, down from $400.
And the Lockright is $400.

Is there any major differences between the 2??

I was going to order myself a pair of Lockrights from the US(on ebay) but they have upped their freight dramatically. But after seeing the price of Spartans, Im not sure now.

Its for a daily driven Lux, 2.4d, on 35s.

The spartan to me looks better made than a lockright. i only say this due to the bigger crosspin and larger springs. Mines still going strong after almost8 months on 35s on the street and offroad.
