i am pretty sure you can get mounts that bolt onto the 22r ones then onto the engine.

also be sure that you know the 3.8 is not chev its buick or something i am pretty sure (i may be wrong)

the only issues that ifs bring up is sump clearance, engine mounts wont be that much of an issue

What fuel consumption like with a commy v6 conversion. My old 2.8 is getting a bit sad and I was maybe looking at the same conversion sooner or later but if fuel is terrible it won't be any good to me cause we do alot of km's in our automobile.

96 on camaro's have a 3.8L engine, they make 200hp from factory but were crap in a camaro due to the lack of torque and the weight of the car. You would be way better of $$$ wise to get a commodore v6

having done a few converions on my own previous vehicles i would say go v8 if you can. lexus v8 or holden efi v8 before a commo v6.
ones i havent done but come highly reccomended are the 3RZ swap and the ls1s are starting to get done a bit more too.
if i was to do another i would seriously look into the 3rz swap.
my 2c
