HJ to HZJ tailshaft compatibility

Post by rockcrawler31 »

I've been looking for a spare tailshaft for the cruiser (Post 91 model HZJ 75 series) so that i can re-tube it to 185 thou wall tube.

I have an offer of a HJ75 shaft at the right price, does anyone know if the bolt patterns and spline on the slip shaft are the same between the two?

I know late 75 and 80 are interchangeable but don't know about the early and late 75's
