King of the Rim is on in Novemeber after tough tracks have finished for the year, the day listed is for drivers to have a say only. We have cancelled the event as Tough Tracks members have been great supporters of the park and we will do everything we can to help their buggie class grow. The event is already a great success.

Anybody enquiring about our online registration for membership or the 4wd Series. Our website should be up and running with online registration capabilities by mid to end of April. :armsup:
We are currently just waiting on some rules to be ammended and finalized by the committee and then the new rules will be posted with the new website.
We would like to thank everyone for their patience on this and once it is up and running this way of registering should be a very smooth process.

plenty of good terrain so it should be a good fun round for all classes to compete in.

Could finish the buggy buy then if I pull my finger out, keen to get wheeling again after watching TT. Outlaw class should take off really well as there are a few local trucks still in the build and keen to compete when finished.
cheers Dan

A few club members(Team Advanti, Team A1 & Chris from Drag Tec Fab) went out to Scenic Rim yesterday and have done some scouting around Cals Creek for some tracks unfortunatly Cals Creek claimed all 3 cars but we found some great places to run Outlaw and Challenge Class when track building weekend comes around. :armsup:
Track building has been proposed as Sunday the 15th May if anyone wants to come for a drive. :)

How does some one go with running a car in trophy or Mod classes, which originally came from factory without doors?

Tanshi, Could you please elaborate a little on what vehicle you would like to compete with and we will talk to our scrutineering team and raise the issue at the next club meeting next week.
Thanks :)

I would think you will need to make a drivers side door, and not cut down style either. Some tube and sheet steel - wha-lah! But raise it a meeting to get the best answers. Or PM ToughTracks4wdclub with FULL details and we can raise it for you and post an answer here.

As the rules currently stand, you would (as Rick says) need to make a door for the drivers side.

Vehicles don't come standard with window nets - but you must run them. We don't even allow cut down doors so I doubt that any submission to the committee would be successful - I for one would oppose it. But if you think that you have a reasonable case then by all means submit it to the committee for discussion.

Check the Scenic Rim Adventure Park web site for daily, week-end rates and camping fees per adult or child. The park will be responsible for gate/entry fees. http://www.scenicrimadventurepark.com.au" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The club only charges for the competitors to compete in the event.
