My brothers got a 96 gq dual fuel but when on gas it seems to stall and idle really rough. Have had it checked multiple times and gas system is good however he mentioned the temp gauge only ever just moves off cold and I thought that it sound a little low and as a result the converter might be freezing up.
Whats normal for a gq temp gauge to run at. I was thinking just under half.

Re: gq normal operating temp
Water in radiator and overflow looks more like mud so I'm guessing it may be jammed open or reading wrong. Several full radiator flushs are in the works as well as pulling the thermostat out and checking its the correct one.
