Toperi 2011 26th-27th November

Post by the gun »

Toperi 2011 is just around the corner and getting here fast. There will be some restrictions to what can be run this year but rego is no longer needed. More information will be released as it gets confirmed eg; entry fee and vehicle specifications.

Cheers

It's club based comp so you will need to be a member of a club, you don't need CCDA membership for Toperi.

The toperi format is unchanged from 2010; two club mates competing together to achieve a win(two cars, two drivers, two navies), however this year you all will need to be member of ccda. Just like at willowglen.

Glenn, just wondering with recovery points, are welded points allowed?

I have 2 sets on the rear one of each. but currently my fronts are welded.
Is that passable or should i put high tensile bolts through them as well?

Or shall i send photos and you treat it on a case by case basis?

cheers

Please clarify something for me...

I am thinking of cutting my Hilux into a convertable so B pillar will be removed totally...and be replaced with a cage... will this be allowed to compete again...

The move to change to no rego was an insurance thing, so to keep Toperi, Toperi and therefore an event for recognizable 4x4s the rules we have come up, we think, achieve that. So Matt no b pillars no entry. Although a convertible hilux on the beach, that has merit.
