Its getting close.
Anyone else going up as a marshal?

Sounds like things are coming along nicely with the setup. I did hear of a nav stage that took 7hrs. Looking forward to test driving that.

Here you go Duncan,

Dirtcomp post from face book today-

It's been a busy couple of days at Broken Hill. The competitors prologued yesterday at the racecourse then did the GPS night stage, which saw a few returning to camp after sunrise. Today we headed to the Rally stage to see the trucks stretch their legs and the Creek Bed Run where Al MacMullen tumbled the Jeep over late in the day (all crew OK). Tomorrow the show heads out to Mt Gipps for a change of scene.

Check out the aus extreme website some photos up.

Thanks Britswed, as I have said not everyone is registered on Facebook and the comp website is Bl...y Pathetic at best.

Congratulations to Hoon and if you have any more news it would be appreciated.

We do not see as much talk on here as we used to.

I had been putting up posts only on facebook with my iphone as technology today makes it so much easier to be able to post quickly that way rather than using the laptop everywhere as the locations were very dry and dusty.

The organizers had put updates on their own website during the week and I'm sure they will put full results up shortly.

Might be a good idea to sign up to facebook, no harder to sign up than having a log on Outers.

Alison

Thanks for that Alison, maybe I need to convince myself to join facebook one day, but in the meantime I have to put up with not knowing the results.

The Organizers have not put anything on their website past stage 10 and the "updates" are only one line saying which property they would be at and that only went to tuesday morning day 3, so they have certainly let the fans down as far as following the event goes. As I said the website is bl..dy pathetic at best.

Thanks anyway

Cheers

I herd that Huddy did will in production class CONGRATS DUDE..
They must have changed the rules, I thaught that the vehicle had to remain 3/4 of its original structure.
or have nissan started making extra cab GU utes.
I would have luvd to have been there & being able to just finish the event would have been enough of a prize for me.
CONGRATS TO THE ORGANISERS & COMPETITERS, HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE NEXT YEAR.

So competitors and spectors what'd your views? Good comp? Will be going back again? Any issues that need to be adressed?

Cheers Mosko
