Post up a pic of the engine bay and I can determine which sized core would be suitable and give you a rough quote.

Re: Intercooler help
take note there is far less room under the bonnet due to the 3b motor being a square motor un like the 1hz

Re: Intercooler help
A 1HZ kit would fit in there easy with just straight end tanks rather than the billet cnc machined outlet I use for the 1HZ's.
The barrels are ok. Not the best out there but still quite a bit better than the front mount setups I have seen.
Only problem I have found with them is the cooling capability for the restriction isnt fantastic.
Generally the more pressure drop you would have across the core means better cooling capacity.

Re: Intercooler help
Hey Muss, I posted in your other thread so not to take this one to far off topic, I have a 13BT with the same barrel setup.
Northside, have you ever played with 13BT's? maybe post in Muss's thread to keep this one on topic.

Re: Intercooler help
how high does the top off the cooler sit above the rocker cover and how much clearance between the top of the cooler and the bonnet.Northside 4x4 wrote:We do a water to air setup for 1HZ and 1HDT's

home brew cooling in progress
Re: Intercooler help
Its about 30mm or so off the cover, maybe a smidge more.
Plenty of bonnet clearance though, generally another 30-40mm
