Body lift on a 60 series

Post by Tom HJ60 »

I recently saw a cruiser with a 75mm body lift, i wasnt able to speak with the owner about any compications he may have had, i have a 50 mm body lift already, but wouldnt mind upgrading to 75mm, as my wheels just touch when really leant over. And i work at a steel yard making it easy to fab the blocks up. Has anyone got a body lift more than 50mm???

Most people go 50mm as it's able to be approved for road use at the moment. I would look at your suspension before adding any more bodylift. Some bump stop extensions could be a cheap answer. Where does it rub? My HJ60 with 2"body 2" Spring and extended shackles only just touches full flex on 35s.
I'm not quitting drinking, I'm retiring at the top of my game - sporting comeback likely.

I'd be mostly concerned about the brake lines.

Yeh cheers, i have extended schakles and a 2" suspension lift already, and i have extended the brake lines already. It rubs on the front guard, on the corner at the bottom closest to the drivers door, on 35's
