Mine is the white one with the blue bonnet number 27. Still racing and there is now a few of them running around. Wade Grifiths has an orange ute and Andrew curry has a magenta one. The silk boys have a disco ute and mikes blue rangie is still running around so there are a few of them. Kurmit is the reason I built a rangie and not a Nissan. That was an awesome truck.

Cheers,
Dan

My old ute has some of the gear for a comp vehicle. Mainly the suspension. Is a hybrid. Range rover chassis, with a shortened series three ute body. Has a Isuzu diesel. Suspension is a custom 4 link rear and way long springs. Front has a custom three link with panard arm and not so long springs. Goes a lot further than std 4wds due to keeping the wheels driving a lot longer. Just needs some lockers to make it even better on the tracks.

i think lockee used to have a hybrid he raced a while ago. If he still floats around these parts he might be able to post pics.

There was a black one getting about only a few years ago, was quite competitive too, not too sure of the specs though from memory it has a LS1 in it.

The only rig I wish I still had. Mid mounted(Well completly behind the front axle anyway) 3.9efi, LT230, ZF with Hybrid diffs running Hilux centres and Haultech Electronic Traction Control. 37" BFG Krawlers. Only thing I would have added to that car was Lockers.

Yes and the car has never been the same again. Went from looking like one of the coolest Defenders in Aus to the Ugliest very fast.
