transfer case filler/drain plugs seized
transfer case filler/drain plugs seized
I have a nissan patrol gu .I am having trouble removing the filler/drain plugs on the transfer case. Has any one else had this problem
Get yourself a impact socket set.
Spray some WD40 on it and leave for a while.
Mind you... screws DONT like to come off slowly - that increases the breakin strain.
I removed mine using WD40 and using my trolley jack handle enclosed around the ratchet handle and giving it a good kick. (shock treatment)
