Hilux crossover question

Hi, ive just bought an ln65 cab and chassis which has been set up for the ifs steering box.
What i want to know is is there a draglink out of a toyota (bundera?) that will suit crossover? Or just bite the bullet and buy a crossover kit from lowrange while the dollars still good?

The H- steer kit I bought from Locktup, uses what I think is an 80series draglink.
I know you said crossover, but hi-steer is not that much more coin to throw down.
But you should check with Locktup, and LowRange, Sean is great to deal with, and do a search before you buy anything.

Hey mate you need to run at least a 1 inch dropped front spring hanger to run high steer to clear everything.

Low range off-road have high steer arms for 70 dollars a pair atm, wouldn't miss that if I were you.

The RHD arms were on sale a few weeks ago, I got a set. Its only the LHD ones for $70 atm. Still you could send Sean an email and ask?

So would 2" spring lift be enough? Or do you need the extra height from the front dropped hanger?
Trying to keep my new lux low running RUF springs.

Nah u have to do a dropped hanger because of the ifs box.

you do Not need a dropped hanger to run high steer, it is a myth, i have high steer and no dropped hanger. but i only have 5 leaves, if you wish to run more for a firmer ride then yes you will need a 1 inch dropped hanger. Buds customs can fix you up with that, see my sig for contact. i would not recommend springs as soft as mine for on road driving.

the main reason for a dropped hanger is to improve castor, can ahieve the same thing with wedges.

I have 2" dropped hanger to match the 2" shackles on my other lux.
But was concerned with the clearance of the draglinks with out the extra lift.
The steering box should be ok, thanks.

lol u need a drop hanger WRONG

johnsey is correct, i dont run a drop hanger in mine, n used caster correctors, it isnt the best caster angle but its better than welding a extra of 2inch lift in

huh i didnt even read urs, nah like u said, u dont need a drop hanger for high steer, or crossover, he didnt say anything about having soft springs ect

I bit the bullet and bought a crossover kit from lowrangeoffroad. Should be here by the end of next week and almost half the price of buying locally.
