GU front radius arms

Post by killalux »

Hi all,
how hard is it to convert the chassis end of the GU front arms from pin to eye.

I think i read something a long time ago that the pin is actaully threaded into the arm and it can be removed and a new eye adapter made to suit, Can anyone confirm this.

Want to do this to fit it into an 80 series

Didn't really want to spend $1200 + on arms if not required, If I cant use the GU arms I will change the mounts on diff and use the 80 arms.

I think changing to 80series arms will be better. As the bolt spacing is closer so allows more flex than the Patrol stuff.

you need to dog leg the arms to get the patrol to line up with the cruiser chassis. patrol has wider spacing between the arms.
