TJM for supporting Coights Creek Jimmy showing everyone what a skill he has and how capable the Jeep realy is it was a marvel to watch and would not be mached all night

thanks russell, was a bloody good track actually. makes me realise i do need a exo cage though if i am going to continue to put the truck through this type of thing. oh and more sponsorship, bloody costly repairs.

had a good time guys . the tracks were good and will only get better with time . well done jimmy on track 6 you drove well and have a very capable car . but was it worth it the damage always looks worse on a sunday morning . i'm glad i couldnt get past the first hard section other wise i think i would still be there stuck between a rock and a hard place .
thanks to all the officials for putting in the hard work and making it an enjoyable night . see ya all next time .

never worth the damage dood. from my point of view if i can drive it with minimal damage thats fine. i dont have copious money to fix damage though which is always the hard part, nothing a hammer cont fix. i guess i look at it that i built this truck to wheel hard, sorry this sounds like some people dont so it maybe not coming across right, each to their own i say. everyone at the end of the day has to have a good time and do what they are comfortable with and prepared to do.

Too true Jimmy. Some of us have purpose built machines, others have daily drivers that we look pushing to the limits. The damage is not worth it somedays, but we accept the risks when we lock the hubs and go for it.
Hell I have to replace a gearbox and I havn't done anything rough for a fortnight. It was fine a week ago :bad-words: still have to fix it up again
Still it was a great night and I'd like to say thanks to Pete and Russell for there effort and time in setting it up.

BTW Russell I need the score sheets so I can get peoples points into the April Mag :D

Thanks guys/girls for a great night! Didn't get home until the weeee hours of the morning, 3:30am. Pete made us drink beer! Bugger. hehe
Thanks to everyone who went to the trouble of organizing the event and to all the helpers who kept us together and upright! But huge thanks to Pete for letting us tread 'lightly' in his little piece of paradise!
And Nat, keep us posted with Baxter's ops!

Thanks once again for your support for Baxter - his mother cried when I gave them the $100.00.

She has asked me to thank everyone and to say how much her family appreciate this. Now all we need to do is raise the other $300.00 and they will be started on their way for the first op - set for May 18th.

If anyone has anything that they would like to donate - I would like to organise another raffle to help support them over this last hurdle.

Please pm or email me if you can help.

Will certainly keep you up to date on his op's and progress. :)

From all accounts bud I think you may have broken your rig as well :!: It seems it was going to be a night where people who didn't really want to compete in the run as they were fixing them up or doing them up, broke them. Like everyone I hope those that broke things it doesn't cost too much moolah.... Still did you have fun Dan ?
Last time I saw you Steve you were sitting back listening to tunes from the Zook - So what happpened from there :?:

Coights Creek is alot of fun but we are toying of making it a bit longer perhaps twice as long  so that some of the bigger vehicles can enter at what are now exits, but this will take alot more work at a much later date ( or I am up for a divorce )

However when we organise a day run it might give you a chance to play in petes caldron out the back at present 7 tracks 3 of wich havent been driven but steve and wes gave them a good go it will be a big day.

I think we could talk pete into making it a full weekend without to much effort ;) a few refreshments at night and some good photos and video in the daylight  .
