80 series high mount winch bar
I've done a bit of research and I think I'm not going to be able to fit my high mount winch in my ARB deluxe bulbar without cutting the grill. I haven't even tried yet as I'm working in WA. Anyone tried to fit a highmount in an ARB deluxe winch bar? If not what do you guys run? Pictures..........
Re: 80 series high mount winch bar
Hey mate,
Me and a mate managed to get mine fitted up by spacing the winch 50mm back off the bar using solid steel bar 25mm thick each and also had to recess the winch into the grill.
As I wasn't using the vehicle for competitions I wouldn't go to that much effort again to get the winch on, I would just get a low mount and call it good.
Here are some pics.

Re: 80 series high mount winch bar
Thanks heaps for the reply, I'm in the same boat, don't really need a high mount but they are awesome! I have a spare deluxe bar sitting here and I reckon if I cut out the tube that the spot ties sit on, and make a new one that sort of bends out and follows the contour of the bar, that it might fit a little better, if i got the winch to bolt straight to the bulbar with no spacers do you reckon o would still have to cut the grill?
