You won't have vac advance.misterhoang wrote:hey guys, ive recently dropped an applause motor in, at the moment im using the old feroza dizzy,

I don't know why you would want to use the applause dizzy if the feroza one works fine.
If you do want to use it though, you'll need to swap all the engine control gear over as well, which will mean re-wiring and such to allow electronic advance of your ignition timing. I've never done this so can't help.

Re: swapping to applause dizzy
The reason why I want to swap it is because its starting to ping under load. Some of the guys here have said they have used an applauase dizzy when they dropped an applause motor apparently it helped reduce the pinging

Pull 'er apart and grease all the moving parts, and back off your timing.misterhoang wrote:The reason why I want to swap it is because its starting to ping under load.
