Force-brand tools???

Does anyone have any experience with Force Tools?

It's an Australian company and appears to be reasonably priced and appear to be involved mainly with automotive tools. Not cheap but not expensive. I'm just looking for some new hand tools and haven't heard much about them.

They appear to be sold through Trade Tools.

I would take a china or Japan tool over anything made in Taiwan any day of the week. About 80% of bluepoint comes out of china or Japan.

If you don't mind waiting a week or two get on the eBay US site and you will find about 5 or so used tool dealers. You can get used snappy, Mac, Matco and cornwell tools for next to nothing. The brand Williams is who makes bluepoint impact sockets and you can get full sets for $30 and 25 shipping. It's worth the wait.

Oh and the snappy stuff can be warrantied over here.

Yep, all from same factory as above.
You choose the level of fit / finish and how you would like your logo.
I was supported by KC Tools (until our friends sold their part of it) and got a lot of their trial stuff branded in everything from stanley, force, sidchrome, daiken, kc, etc.
Spanners etc came from one major, pliers etc came from a few. If you look at super works gold / cailbur / kc / etc their spanners are identical

I would buy the cailbur / swg any day of the week. I have bought about 10-25 sets and they are all going strong. My sets are used all the time as are my work sets, and they honour their warranty over the counter. I bought a torque wrench that gets thrashed - 8xM16's twice a day and when it fails its a straight swap, have about 5 so far from one purchase. Its not because they are crap - we just don't have tradesmen using them.

Force aren't too bad. I have been flogging mine for a while now and they're good enough to not destroy your stuff and not really expensive enough to be upset about if they were to get stolen from your vehicle.

Wouldn't use them for professional use but for the backyarder they're good.

My only complaint is that there was no 18mm socket in my set (like most, 18mm is skipped lol) and the sockets aren't quite as deep as say Sidchrome but isn't a major issue.

I have quite a few SWG tools and they are very well priced. My SWG torque wrench is pretty good too. To me the new Calibre range isn't as extensive as SWG. Not sure why.

The KC Tools seem pretty pricey.

Well so far they are appear to be very good value for money. Much better then some other brands for a mere backyarder.

I'm a diesel fitter by trade and have been using force spanners for the last 6 years i have flogged them with hammers put pipes over ring end to swing on open end, doubled spanner and the works and im yet to break one i rate them and as said above are well priced so not to worried if ever break one

ive had a couple of sets of the spanners for years now, as above, all sorts of abuse, been unable to damage one yet...
