mines leaking! ... any one else had troubles with this?

whats the common fix? ...

and one got any prices?

New cylinders are about $50-$60. Clutch masters are a lot dearer about $220. I'd just replace the cylinder.

Get a Stainless Steel Sleeve put in it it will last longer.

Cheaper to get new one, and the factory ones were brass/bronze sleeved anyway.

ok not the slave cylinder .. i have it all apart .. it was the hose to it has a split in it

right all back together .. bled the clutch ... and the clutch don't work :bad-words:

first thing .. found the bleeder was clogged up as it was pushing throught the thread ... fixed that with some tiny drill bits ...

bleed again ... all air seems to be out ... still no clutch

HELP!

Do you have vacuum servo assist on the clutch? There is a bleed nipple (hope that word doesn't get censored :lol: ) behind the fuel filter housing, that will need to be bled here as well.

yeh done that too ... v8diesel was here today to have a look .. couldn't stay long ... but thats what we did

You might need to adjust the pedal height at the pedal. there will be an adjustment you can make on the pushrod into the master cyclinder, from the footwell. If the new slave cylinder is slightly different dimensionally to the one you replaced, this will affect the clutch travel.
