cruiser high pinion

Post by shortyq »

converting std housings to h/p by way of rotating the pumpkin rear section!
question being,by fliping the centre 180'' causes the rotation to run in reverse!
is it a matter of switching centres front to rear and vise versa?
or am i missing something?

nah bloke a mate of myne tried doing this ended up welding up the lot neat as and it went in reverse  wouldnt bother. you would have to get reverse cut gears for the landcruiser 9.5' centres. and for that price you would be better getting high pinion dana 60's

If your really keen on HP front, find a late 75 series cruiser and throw that front diff & drive shaft under there, will be 8" tho same as 80 front.

302 windsor,cruiser running gear,swb,,tube rear on 33s all for under 3k,thats why,no its not a daily!
so it appears there is no h/p gear sets for the 9.5
8.0 yes so that should fix the problem!
anyway cheers for those who tried!
