i have set up a long arm kit on the rear of my gq wagon, its built to the same specs as the superior ones (around 950mm arms from memory)
my car had sliders on it when i bought it, they were welded straight to the chassis, i have had to cut the rear mount out so it didnt foul the control arm on full suspension compression.
im now looking to build a new set of bolt on 'U' bracket style sliders, but the rear mount is looking difficult, just wondering if anyone else has done this yet, and if so, put up some snaps of your rear mount for me!

hey ive been thinking of the same thing with sliders fouling i was thinking when i get around to doing mine making the rear arms inverted onto the inside of the chassis i think it should work well still but i also wanna run an A frame too

yer i guess most triangulated 4 links run on the inside of the frame, not an option for me as i have already spent the time putting it on the outside, i wanted it as factory looking as possible, just longer.
im thinking an angled tube mount up and towards the wheel arch is gonna be the go, i was just wondering what others have done, but i havent come across a wagon with long arms, no probs on a ute because the sliders are short

Hay man. I have the same problem on my wagon my arms actually hit the body mount on up travel i need longer bump stops. I think your on the right track with how you what to build the rear mounts. You could always brace them back to were the old factory sliders mounted to the body (bolt on), It looks very close to were i would have the last mounting bracket but you would have to have a different set up then u bolting it, A flat plate bolted to the to the chassis maybe.
