front diff, one wheel binding up in 2WD? 4WD OK
my GU front diff is having Issues, in 2WD the front driver side wheel is binding up, mostly at speeds under 50k's, the diff had a full rebuild including a new arb air Locka 3years ago its only traveled about 3000k's no probs.1week ago this binding problem started, so i swapped the GU auto locking hubs for a set of GQ manual locking hubs hopeing this would be the fix, no same front driver side wheel still binds up in 2WD. so with hub locked i have been driving in 4WD without a problem with Locka on and of all OK. unless its a big coincidence both the RHS hubs Ar toast? what else might it be transfer case or Locka? has any one seen this

Not sure what kind of binding it is. But if its the hub not disengaging. Take the hub off and clean all the grease out. Then just give it a light spray. And re-install.
Or if the new hub has been pulled apart, maybe its just out of adjustment on the pins and not disengaging properly.
Not sure if you can run with out a hub or not to test.

Sounds like wheel bearings seizing up. You need to pull the hub off and check bearings and CV's before you trash something badly.
