Info needed - F75 Power Steering Pump

Post by rocky td »

Hi
I have a F75 Rocky with a turbo diesel motor, the old gear driven type. I purchased the car with a busted engine which was already removed from the car, and am still trying to put everything back together.
My main problem at the moment is trying to work out how to mount the power steering pump. Does anyone have any photos of how the pump mounts to the block?
Cheers

hey mate the pump mounts down on the drivers side, ive had problems with brackets before. it mounts to the front of the block with two bolts, then the bracket runs down the block and picks up one or two of the bolts for the engine mount. i had a f73 that i had to cut the bracket down near the engine mount due to the bracket being to long and then not lining up with the pulleys. ive got a f70 and f77 and they both have mounts that have been cut up near the mount to fit the bolts. ill try and get you a pic.
cheers
