will a 60 series landcruiser turbo fit my 3ltr 5l hilux?

i have a 60 series landcruiser with a 4ltr turbo (12ht) and just wanted to know if the turbo will fit my 97 3ltr (5l) hilux?

yeh mate it will but it may have a bit of lag considering a 12ht is a 1000cc bigger wat u doin with the 12ht after u take the turbo from it may b interested

its not a straight bolt up if your using the usual 2lt manifold. but you can make any turbo fit if need to..

It wont bolt up, no.

It is also entirely the wrong spec.

The CT26 on the 12HT comes in late enough as it is so on the 3 litre dont expect much below 2500rpm.

I do exchange or replacement turbos for the 12HT to correct this issue on the 12HT (and the 1HDT, 1HDFTE etc etc) and bring strong boost from 1600 and the ability to hold 20psi to redline, but even this optimised turbo wouldnt build 15psi on a 3 litre diesel (without overfuelling) until ~ 2000rpm

Wouldnt you want strong boost from ~ 1600 mark - take a look at the CT12B, intercooled spec.

i might have to sell the 12ht complete .. to pay for a turbo kit for my 3ltr ... coustom turbos do u have a shop? (if so address please?) and you were saying u exchange turbos . so you will trade a landcruiser turbo for hilux turbo (ct20)? as well as whole kits?
