Hi all this is my first post,so please be nice
Ive got a 3lt V6 92 nh paj with 4.875 ratio diifs.I want to change the diffs to compensate for the loss of power by putting 33' muddies on and towing the camper. Can i put 4.29 ratio diffs in the front and rear? Or is there a better option?
Thanks Richie

Re: changing diffs
If you want to compensate for larger tyres, going from 4.875 to 4.2xx is NOT the way to do it - I suspect you meant 5.29?
Yes, you can install 5.29 diffs, if you can find them. If you have a manual, I'm fairly certain that 5.29s to suit your front diff are basically non-existent. If you have an auto, with the smaller front diff, they should be out there somewhere - it's just a matter of finding them.
