Hi guys does anyone have an ironman commercial bullbar on their LN106? is the quality close to that of an arb? they are pretty competitively priced and come with led parkers and indicators. I havent personally seen one that suits the LN106 and want to know if they look good too.
If anyone has some pictures that would be great.
Cheers Mitch

Mate from what I have seen with Ironman bars, and the people I know who have had them, they arent the best. ARB and TJM are a much better bar IMHO, maybe try Opposite Lock Xrox tube bar as well...
Re: ironman commercial bullbar for LN106
really? i thought they had made a pretty good name for themselves for quality? obviously theyre no arb, but they are a good looking bar imho.
Evski you obviously got your xrox cheaper but arent they around the same sort of money to buy?

Re: ironman commercial bullbar for LN106
I payed about $900 for my xrox which isnt far off the money. Honestly, we have heaps of people coming through the store so we get to see and hear it all, and lets just say I wouldnt run one on my truck. The fitting is a pain, the steel looks thin, the welds arent as nice or as uniformed, and I have even heard of two seperate cases where the winch frames have bent after fairly simple winching. They do look nice, but then again so do some of the trannies I've seen V840 pull... I saw a 90 series Prado bar the other day, where I could push the side wings in with my hands. Not what you want on a steel bar. It wasnt a commercial bar though, but stil after destroying two Ironman shocks in under three months, and now seeing these bars, I'm pretty cautious with Ironman stuff... Hey if people are happy with them cool, but like I said I woudnt put an ironman bar on my truck.
Re: ironman commercial bullbar for LN106
well that has pretty much made my mind up mate, thanks for the non-bullshit answer.
I would own an xrox, but living in the central west skippy is quite abundant and i need more protection, to be honest i dunno how ive lasted this long with just a factory steel bumper. Although HID headlights and spotties do help. I picked up a set of brushrails and steps cheap and am in the market for a steel bullbar. Whats an arb winch bar retail for these days? gotta be $1200+?
