got a mate who has a 1999 79 series 4.5 ltr
problem is gearbox not happy and transfer is dead
if we purchase a 80 series 5 speed what manual transfer can we bolt to it
as it is not constant

80# only Gordon full time or part time

check on the location of the shifter too. I think they are in different locations in the different series also

He must have some done some good stuff to damage one of these boxs ,there the same box as behind the turbo v8 utes
