I am looking at buying 2nd hand 4 runner with the 3 ltr V6 petrol engine with a LP gas conversion.
Do the toyota engines deal with the LP gas ok ? Any long term problems?
Did toyota sort out the head gasket problems with this engine?

Re: 1993 4 Runner
there was a recall but they are still known for doing head gaskets, normally just start using water. Not sure about running them on gas but they are a real pita to fix and expensive also

Nothing MLS head gaskets and ARP head studs shouldn't fix. Run an upper cylinder lubricant system for LPG and you should be fine.
