Easter trip report
Hey guys,
Finally arrived home from the virgin trip in the paj over easter. To sum it..... excellent. Headed to Landcruiser park for 3 days to give the new paj a beating. All in all, nothing too much went wrong.
Let me start by saying that the auto is awesome... Figured out the left foot braking technique down hill that actually allowed me to crawl slower than the diesel patrol and cruisers i went with. As for uphill its a god send. No clutch makes for great rock crawling. However the gearing is a little shot but can be fixed easily. The flawless paint work and panels now are host to a multitude of scratches, dents and usuall stuff...
The 35's did not scuff at all. Not even under full lock at full compression. i was amazed...
As for challenges.... Conquered cruiser canyon (first time ever tried) and airlocker ave....
Downfall was that i lost my rear locker on occasion. I must have an airleak and the compressor doesnt have the balls to hold any pressure.. Easy fix though..
All in all a fantastic weekend with no real issues... AND 35's rule..

Someone needs to build a blown V6 paj with heaps of horspower to win the hillclimb. Every year the same turbo petrol patrol wins...
