snatch straps and recovery kits

i have just gotten a gu patrol and am wanting to get some recovery gear for it but am bit unsure of what to get in way of the weight rating. so if anyone can help would be great.

Most are 8,000kgs For a patrol I would go all 11,000kgs stuff

ARB gear is good but pricey.

Most recovery gear is tested to standards, so stick with name brand.

Check some 4wd shops, and if in doubt go a bit heavier in rating rather than 'just enough'

The standard rule with snatch straps :- the strap should be rated 2 & 1/4 x the weight of what you are recovering.
eg:- GU Patrol = 2 & 3/4 tonne ish so a min of 7 tonne strap.
# GU 2-3/4 tonne + camper 1-1/4 tonne, a min of 9 tonne strap
