I think I've spotted threads on them on one of the american forums... pirate/zukicrawler/zhuwarrie

Might have better luck there.

They would go better than a standard carby. I did a fair bit of research on the harley conversion but decided on using the 4x 32mm carbs from a gsx. It was just easier and cheaper in the end and I reckon the gsx would have a little bit more go than the harley carb.
