Hey Rolly can you give us a bit more clarification on the racing.

Is it going to be the combined time of all of your laps that will determine the winner?
Or do you just have to do one fast lap - and that is the lap that will count?

Can you give us a little bit of info on the spectator area? Is it the existing area where the spectating was for the 1st KOR?
Will the spectators be able to see some of the high speed and crawling from one location?
Or will a little bit of walking net spectators with better results to see the action?

I'm definately looking forward to getting amungst the action and seeing a number of new/modified rigs that are ready to compete!
No doubt since it's inception the KOR racing has pushed the rock crawling scene along nicely - it definately gives the crawlers another event to test their skills at - and it's that bit different with the speed/distances - to keep it fresh!

it will be a combined time of all the laps that will determine the winner and i think there will be a seperate prize for fastest lap as well .
spectators will have 3 main areas for viewing and will be able to see alot of the action in the play area and some of the full noise climbs as well . the areas are all located close to where we think most of the action will be and not to far to walk . i would suggest putting up a shade shelter as the sun could be a killer that time of year.

the play area will comprise of jumps .woops.vertical climbs .steep drop offs .tyres and wombat holes.
approx 12 to 14 km long and will take at least 40min to do a lap .
i will put up exact length and time as soon as we can get a vehicle out there with a gps to do a lap.
there will be alot of over taking and expect to get held up now and then due to traffic .

If i take 90 minutes to do a lap it'll be because i've seen a comely looking sheep by the side of the track and i've gotten distracted.

Until you roll all four tyres off the bead simultaneously. :finger: But sure i reckon you can have a go. Just get a ticket and get in line behind my current navi, the pit chief and about 5 other people who've said the same damn thing. Besides, my driving skills are second only to my ability to be distracted by random shite a la the dogs in the movie "up"

My nomination is now in. Should we be looking at GPS to assist with navigation - especially with a single seater?

It was basically all on a track last time and I remember getting lost about 3 times! Although I think I was too consumed with hoping my buggy would stay together to notice the track signage.

Approximately when could we start pre-running the course?

Sounds good but I'll be at Superior All-Terrain this weekend. If I went out there another weekend, would we be able to follow the course based off this map?
