80 series hi steer?

Im a regular customer of locktup and they have great customer service. Most of my gear is through them. I cant speak for everyone. But its not the price. Its the fact that I really dont need both sides. The drivers side would just sit there for show. If they sold the 1 passenger side to me and I could save a few $$. I would buy it tomorrow. So if locktup is reading this, challenge put forth.

i gave up on about page 2 but have been told to look at this thread again.

we shipped out Ray's the other day, it cost us $287 in shipping. So you can figure out who is marking what up. ?!?!?!?!?

Billy called me last night and said he has a ONE time offer. The foundry has made seven extra left side knuckles "left side as your sitting in your rig". If you want to put a group buy together this is the time to do it. PLEASE make sure you understand what you are buying and of the possible modifications you may have to make. Any of u tyre kickers bought some of these yet?!?! (besides mark)

My high steer knuckles turned up today! had a bit of a quick size up and looks as tho i will be able to run only the main steering arm at the front. the one behind the diff will have to stay there (which isnt a bad thing.)

nice looking bit of gear tho, now i just have to get a bit of rhs for my panhardmount and get my steering arm machine out to suit the heim joint

You already have billy, passenger side high steers that take fj80 tie rods.

Maybe you could make the 5" bolt on panhard rod drop brackets to go with these babies. I think you could make them cheaper than I can here in aus, and they would be universal. Just flip them around. And for those who want the stronger hubs on both sides. Maybe just a stub plate on the drivers side, instead of the whole high steer set up.

EDIT: Scratch the universal part. They will have to be mirror image.

yep, Hypozook, can still get the complete kits, just Hellfire had some extra left hand knuckles sitting around.

only 1 left hand knuckle available now thanks to The Big Boy and Cranky, really appreciate your support guys, as does Billy.

I want to see someone do a hybrid with these using a H233B centre with Bobby Longs finest CV's and Axles. (Yes we can get custom splined inners if anyone wants to give it a go!!)

Most, not all people, who do that conversion also fit a ARB front locker, new style ARB lockers are designed with interchangeable parts to reduce costs. You can swap out the nissan splined side gears for toyota splined side gears so the standard axles will fit. Less custom parts is always a bonus. Fair few of these setups getting around now days.

Your prob best to send him a pm. Although I don't get why you would only do the one side other than to save $. I'de want both sides to have the same strengths and characteristics. Hence i'll be saving for a while and keep eye on the cranky cruiser build.
