GU short side does not fit..

hey guys my gu shortside axle wont fit back in the housing , the axle appears to be to long so when bolted up the swivle housing wont swivel...

basics gu diff.. gq housing and locker..

can the axle be ut on the spline whos done this and what did u use

I think you need a GQ axle for a GQ housing.
GU track is wider

i think Gqs have a plate in the center that needs to be removed for gu axles

as far as i know gu axles dont fit gq axle housings...willing and interested to be proven wrong though

all good took the angle grinder to it and it fits... and its a gu housing with a gq center gu cvs..

just out of curiosity is it the gu cvs that make up the extra track or the axle it self?

15mm wider each side on the housing.. so cvs are longer aswell

If your locker is the RD09 it has a block in the guts of the locker that has to be taken out and GU axies will fit.
