10 Sept Lady's event POSTPONED if interest shown

The second event for 2011 for the Lady's Offroad Boss 4WD Challenge will happen on the 10 September. Thanks to Offroad Boss for the continued support of this event.

Lady's majority of novice drivers have never been behind the well, so all are welcome.

We have made some changes, based on feedback and interest, we will have 2 classes, the will be worked out based on drivers ability rather than type of 4WD:

Novice
Experienced

NOVICE

Open to those ladies that always come along and support their partners driving, but don't really give it a go. There will be some really basis tracks to have a go.

Giving ladies the opportunity to experience 4x4 driving in a fun and enjoyable environment. No husbands or partners to be yelling at your and making your temperature boil.

EXPERIENCED

For the ladies that drive regularly or compete, cars will have penalty points based on modifications.

A few ladies registrations are starting to come through, come on ladies get behind this special event for you!

Offroad Boss again are supporting this event and the winner of the Novice class will with a night and dinner for two at the Marriot Hotel on Gold Coast, other great prizes for 2nd and 3rd also.

If the experienced ladies won't get behind this event also, we have great prizes and a great day planned for you too.

After consulting with Scenic Rim Adventure Park, we have together decided to postpone this round of Ladies 4wd challenge, due to lack of participants. We will continue to support this competition, as we feel it's a great opportunity to involve the women that support us (put up with us) in our sport.

The first event was well supported and was great fun, we will be looking to re-create that next time, through making the tracks easier to drive, and adding some different challenges into the mix.

If adequate interest is shown, we will definatley be putting the event on again, if not this year, early next year (depending on SRAP's availability), so please do voice your interest, comments or suggestions, as we'd love to see this event continue next year.
