15" Rims for SR hilux

Post by granta8082 »

Hi

I would like to fit 15" rims on my sr extra cab as i have got a brand new set of hankook mud tyres 31/11.5/15 that I would like to use I have got a 2" suspension lift and flares what I want to know is what offset I can use I want to buy some alloy mags the guy at the tyre shop said that I can only have zero offset and that mean only have a small selection of rims and a good place to buy rims in brisbane.

Thanks

I have 0 offset 15x7" on my '94 LN106 with 32x11.5" tyres.
It has a 2" lift and the tyres sit inside the guards. I believe -22 is the most common offset for solid axel though and that would fill out the flares more.
Most IFS jap 4x4 run 0 offset I think (the set I have came stock on a IFS surf). If you want to get tyres wider than 11.5" in the future you would need -22 or greater offset as my 11.5" come quite close to the leaves on full lock.
