Only a few days to go now before Round 3. Just a reminder that The Springs have Eftpos available for entry into the park (no Cash out) so you will still need to bring cash for food and the RAFFLE

Well hump day is hear and now we are all on the down hill run to Tough Tracks Challenge Series Round 3.
We have put together a list of things to bring:
1. Smile, good times and laughter
2.Alcohol and drinks
3.Cash for GIANT RAFFLE and food from park
4. Comfortable camping gear and if you can't then more of 2
5. Eftpos for entry to park
6. Strong coffee
7. Tissues for the heart breaks
8. Cement for when the times are tough and you need to Harden the F up
9. Oh last of all if you are a competitor don't forget your 4x4

Just had word that there will be an independant film crew onsite to video The Springs and the weekend with Tough Tracks 4x4 Challenge Series.
I would ask that you are all on your best behaviour. NOT
Looks like we might have to put on a show for the weekend.
These DVD's will be put together for us to purchase at a later date.

At this stage the main admin tent will be at the main campground. Convenient for the raffle and Sundays tracks and presentation. Saturday's tracks are going to be near the house however. So if you arriving Saturday morning, once you're signed into the park, head out to the main campground for drivers briefing and sign on etc.

Competitors remember - all registered vehicles MUST have 3rd Party extension and you will need to produce the form at sign-on.

Drivers and Navigators will be required to attend the Drivers Briefing as I will be discussing a couple of rule changes that you will NEED to know.

Navis - remember your high vis vests, helmets & gloves.

Drivers - remember - window nets & helmets, fire extinguishers & 1st aid kits, suitable recovery points are a must. Challenge & Outlaw vehicles must be capable of self recovery.

Outlaw - the owner of the vehicle will need to sign a Declaration regarding the safety of the vehicle.

Great comp, congrats to all the overall winners and thanks to everyone involved. The buggy went really well considering I've only wheeled it a few times, we'll try to get to all 3 rounds next year.

Had a great weekend with a equal first on track 2 with Team DGR and 2 x 4th on track 1 & 3. Happy with a 3rd overall for the weekend.
Thanks Superior Engineering for the contigency racing winnings they will come in very handy since we broke the front diff gears on track 1 and transfer case on track 3.
Thanks to Tough Tracks 4x4 Club and all of the commitee, admin staff and all of the officials for your great work over the year and another great Round.
