hey mate, I believe there Is already a few teams on the stand by list. But if you would like to fill out the entry forms that Troy will send you then who knows maybe with enough peer pressure they may open up the field to 17 teams?? It's worth a try!!

Hey guys, there's only a week left to get event sponsors onboard! So if you know of any buisenesses interested in sponsoring the event please let Troy T or myself know so that we can send the relevant information to them!

The reason the cut off is soon is because the design of event shirts needs to be finalised so they can be printed and also so the event flyers and media side of things can be done aswell!

Also if you have friends or family who are able to help out as marshalls/time keepers or just lend a hand for a few hours doing a few tasks please let us know! That way shorts in their sizes can also be ordered!

Cheers Mosko

nah mate, I don't think that will be happening as we have set the dates to allow competitors to have time to fix their vehicles after round 4 WTC and then have a few weeks to get ready four round 4 of SSS winch challenge down cruiser park, it's a pitty but with the organisers also being competitors at other events it's the best date to have it, maybe something can be worked out for next year

From Troy T guys:

Its time for all teams to nominate a team captain. this person will be responsable for the communication between officials and the teams both before and during the event. It will be important that this person ensure their team is up to date at all times and must be contactable on the event channel at all times to relay important messages. Could this person from each team please email me for this years rules and indemnaty forms. troyten@tpg.com.au

The guys headed down to Clarkies a few weekends ago to drop of fuel and tyres for his skidder!
So with Clarkey now locked and loaded a whole new gully system is planned to be cleared to accomodate stages for this years event! with it only being a few hundred metres max from last years stage area (which will be used again aswell) spectators are going to be sorounded by action

Troy also mentioned that after the heavy rains we had late last year the bottom of the gully is now solid, with gravel now as the base instead of the slop we ended up in last year! So as long as the rain stays away I'm sure many of the marked out winch walls will be driven!

Good to hear you are ready to rumble Phil! The other two cars in our team need new custom front diffs built before they are ready to race! Other then that I'm pretty sure the green rig has no other issues, and Jase was servicing his winch the other day so he musnt have any other main problems other then the lack of diff housing..

How's everyone elses prep coming along?

Plan-b racing is undergoing some pretty big prep things... Kingys jeeps getting his 6 point cage welded in and diffs being built up and he's pretty much ready, Damien in his gu has his 6 point cage in, fitting up his custom bar, fitting the big winch and having a few dramas with both of those... Nothing major, he's also finished his tray and pretty much ready to make the big trip from Curlewis which is 1hr from muswellbrooke in nsw haha! Commitment, hes also lining up for winch challenge at bendemeer down there tomorrow if all goes well with the bar fitout! Can't see them having much sleep in the next 48hrs! My jeep currently down navi's workshop, fitted up 24v alternator, and now lots and lots of tube bending Gping on ;) but we still have little fiddly things but can see the light at the end of the tunnel so plan be will be ready to tackle lowmead :D well hope everyone's plans are Going well and now it's just late nights at the workshop and counting down... :)
