Slow electric windows

Anyone else sick of having slow electric windows?

Passenger side one the worst on both my pajero's. Real slow for first 10 inches then its away. Fine coming down.

Can you get rubber grease?

At work we use silicone grease for lubricating (and sealing) rubber plugs. Typically would be used on o-rings for waterproof housings etc. Safe to use on rubber. It's a white paste. Might transfer to the window though.
Perhaps some judicious use of some plain old silicone spray?
What parts are causing the most friction?

I've gotta hold the drivers switch otherwise it keeps clicking off...

I have used silicon spray in the tracks of my Pajero. It worked fine for about 6 months and now it really needs another dose. Be careful to limit the spray to the felt liners only. Do it with the wondows fully down.

Put some silicon spray on the tracks and it is much better, will see how long it lasts. Bit of a pain to do, I pulled all the trim off and the rubber out of its tracks to get a good coverage.

Cool, might give it a go when I'm feeling motivated/annoyed.
If that doesn't last long, could try the same process with teflon spray. It's supposed to be a bit more durable I think.

Teflon spray would be good but how do you make it stick to anything?
