How high can I lift my '81 before I have to go hi steer or crossover?
I know hi steer/crossover are both far better than the standard steering. I will do one or the other eventually.
But for now, retaining stock steering what is viable? I was thinking of 3" springs and extended shackles (probably 2") all round.

About 2" before you need to put in a dropped drag link or modification. You could go 4" with the correct dropped drag link. Remember to keep ya thumbs on the outside of the steering wheel though.
