I'd be checking with old mate what motor it's got. Cause the 3L(2.8) never come out factory turbo. The 2L(2.4) did and also the 5L(3.0) did. So just double check. I pulled apart my 3L and it has 4.3

Yeh if its the 2.8 it's 4.3.. As said they did not have turbo's from factory..

And it wasn't the 5L that had the turbo, it was the 1kzte motor that did ( both 3.0L but different motors )

just mark inputs and outputs, and turn the input shaft how ever many time it takes the out put to do a full revolution - lock one output from moving first - count the other sides number of turns and divide by 2 thats the ratio and doesn't need pulled apart and doesnt need to be guessed as old cars have often got different diffs from new.

I might have a 4.5 v6 4runner lsd third member in the shed. I'd have to double check the ratio (could be 4.3) and wouldn't do that unless you were sure you wanted to buy it.
