Tough Tracks 4x4 Challenge Series End of Year Presentations

Just a reminder to everyone that the end of Year Presentation/Breakup/Xmas Party will be held at Janowen Hills 4x4 Park on the 29th & 30th of October.
We will be handing out Overall positions for the year and also notifying those who we require for the model Calender shoot.
We will post further information as it comes to hand so cross this date off your calender as full and get ready to have another great weekend away with some great people.

We have just spoken with Jan & Owen from Janowen 4x4 Park about catering for this.
We have a choice of Roast Beef or BBQ Mixed grill for dinner that night.
The price is $25 Per Head, $12.50 Per Head for children 5-15yrs and 0-5yrs are free but we still need to know numbers.
Normal Camping and 4wding fees apply for this weekend and are payable to Janowen on entering.
Tough Tracks 4x4 Club will be collecting payments for dinner and we need to know numbers for Janowen before 16th Oct.
If you are coming could you please email us on info@toughtracks4wdclub.org with numbers of adults, children & infants and also your preference for dinner so that we can get things organized. We will organize payment from you later prior to 29th Oct.

Well it looks like we will have some great prizes lined up for the overall placings in the 4 classes.
We still need to know from people who are wishing to come as we need to book with Janowen Hills so if you can email us at info@toughtracks4wdclub.org and give us numbers as well as your vote on whether you want BBQ Mixed grill or Roasts for dinner.
We have organised some entertainment for the kids on Saturday and also some great games for the adults for later on.

Aaron, The end of year presentation is family focused so the wives/partners of some of the club members have been nominated by their partners to run the games for the kids.
I think it will be along the lines of egg and spoon races, painting, musical chairs the typical games that kids can play at party's. There will be plenty of other kids their so i'm sure you wont be on baby sitting duties all weekend. They will start at probably around 2-3pm so it can wear them out ready for bed.

OK - the itinery for the weekend is as follows:-
turn up Friday or Saturday - free time - make sure you get your ticket for a lucky door prize or 2.

Saturday afternoon before dinner (say 4 to 4.30 pm) we will be having a few games - for the adults and the kids.

The adults games are sorted!! It will be alot of fun. They involve vehicles & snatch straps, witches hats & bunting, brute strength and weapons, water & welding helmets, and more. he he he he he he

We will have dinner followed by the presentation of the trophies & prizes.

Followed by free time through to Sunday if you're staying

Well what a great week-end.

Thanks to the club members who assisted with all the organising and ran the childrens fun activities (all the kids had a great time I hear). The adults activities were fun as well, although we just about had to break arms to get people to join in

Well done to Aaron and Mick from Amadaxtreme for the great competition throughout the year and taking out 1st place overall for the Series in Challange Class Rob and i look forward to competing against you next year with a new truck and new name???? we were happy to take out 2nd place.
Well done also to Brad and Mick from Team Tuflux who took out 3rd place in Challenge Class we also look forward to competing against you guys next year.

Had my tow bar recovery hitch go missing over the weekend - looks like this but with a black block.



I can't determine whether it has been lost by stupidity on my part, or if it was flogged. Either way, if you have it, or know who has it, please let me know and I will pick it up.

Yeah righto, steady on mate.

It's a mystery because the pin was still in. So either:

1. I didn't actually put the pin through the hole. Near impossible because it would sit way too far out and look wrong. But plausible.
Or 2. It got flogged, but they put the pin back in?

Both are equally dodgy scenarios. Either way it's missing and it's shitting me.
