So, I'm new here! My names Scott, i've recently got my Honda Integra defected for the most stupidest reason and they made me do a blueslip (didn't pass because of things out of my control, don't have enough money to get it fixed so I've gotten my Feroza registered)
So anyway.. I've noticed quite a few problems with the car, although I'm not sure if its normal or not..
1) There seems to be a dead spot in the accelerator, put it down a little and the car revs up and down
2) The car sits on about 1600 revs when it's idleing, around 2100 in the mornings
3) It's really slowwwww.. sitting on around 4000 revs at 100km/h.. bad?
4) Fuel ecconomy (because of high revs im assuming) .. getting around 18L per 100km..
3) Getting pinging from engine (I think that's the word.. like struggling/underpowered)
Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should try?
Thanks in advance for help!
Scott

Re: 1996 Feroza - Issues
2. Adjust your idle and the idle is high because of the auto choke
3. Thats normal because of the bad ratio diff/gearbox
4.You o2 sensors sounds like it needs relacing

Run E10 fuel and your pinging should disappear.
Re: 1996 Feroza - Issues
It took along time but i eventually found why my car pings and uses alot of fuel. I found that my exhuast manifold was not earthed out which caused the o2 sensor to not operate. So check your earthing on the exhaust manifold
Re: 1996 Feroza - Issues
Hi mate, i've replaced my o2 sensor, but noticed no difference in fuel consumption..
Where would i locate the earthing?
