gday everyone, i just picked myself up a 08 cruiser ute with 2" suspension lift and 1" body lift. Just looking at tyres now. Its got 285/75R16 goodyear wranglers MT's on it atm and just wondering what size and brand people recommend. Im up in the NT bout 370km south of darwin and its coming into the wet season. do a fair bit of highway driving but need them to perform offroad due to slippery and slushy conditions.
Cheers,
Josh

Re: 70 Series
You will fit 33s so 305/xxr16 although the wrangler MTRs are a pretty decent in mud.... Prolly as good as you will get without going a more aggressive offroad based tyre
Re: 70 Series
305 70 16 are a good size tyre to suit the 2" lift, im running 315 75 16 with 2" lift and sometimes i chuck 1" coil spacers in up front ,no major dramas.
with the 1" body lift does your bonnet seal up to the intercooler properly still

Re: 70 Series
im running 305s on my 2002 79s for the daily and isnt lifted just sagged. it doesnt scrub on the body anywhere just on the tray rails at full flex.
