Hi. Ive got new led tail lights to wire up on my cruiser. Can i just use all origanal wiring?

Yes you can use all your existing wiring, though you may find your indicators will blink quicker meaning you may have to put a resisitor in.

As was stated above your blinkers will flash faster. Resisters are expensive just add a hidden globe somewhere. One for each blinker that slows it back to normal. Or just deal with the fast blinkers. You can't see them sk won't annoy you

There is actually a rate at which they are supposed to flash.... between once/sec and twice/sec from memory.... outside this they are technically illegal..... but I'm sure there are other things that the transport dept. has to worry about...

gday mate .... another way around it is to replace the factory flasher can with a LED flasher can ... narva sell them for about 40 bucks

or you just buy the narva load resitors for 10 bucks each and look neater to the putting a bulb somewhere.

Its cheap nasty chinese shitt but mine has lasted 5 years so far, how could you justify anything else?

If you do go for a replacement relay check the plug before purchasing, my 105 series didn't use a 3 pin rely.

just fitted the narva led tail lights to my 2002 79s, i brought the load resitor thinking i would need it. but didnt flash any faster it is still the same rate. i spoke to a friend about it and said the 105s work on a timer circut instead of a load circut and he thought the 79 might have the same system.

so before going throught the hassel of ebay and what not, just pull out a indicator bulb and double check it is resitance not a timer. if it isnt timer it will flash faster, if it is flashing at a normal rate then it is timer

the legal requierment for indicator light is 60-120 flashes a minute. dont no anyone who has been pulled up for this, but i would hate to fail rego or get a fine for something easy to fix for under 20bucks

My 105 definitely needed it, just put LED lights on my GU ute, when I replaced the rear lights flash rate was still okay, there were enough incandescent globes still in the system to keep the thermal relay flashing at the correct rate, after also replacing the front globes had to add an electronic relay.
