Hey Guys,
Does anyone have details , or hopefully pics, of how they mounted a 24V alt onto a TD42?
Am thinking of using the hole where the A/C compressor used to be?
Anyone have details of which alt they used and any pics of the mounts?
Thanks,
Welchy

Re: GQ 24V Alternator
i mounted it up high as far from the mud as possible. i modified the existing bracket to take both alternators and run one belt for both. I can get better pics if you want, this one was actually on the cooler sitting in place
Re: GQ 24V Alternator
I'd need to mount a 12V. I was thinking of underneath the power steering pump but was saving that for an Endless Onboard Air. I would appreciate a better pic of the bracket and how the belt runs both pulleys. Thxmickyd555 wrote:

Re: GQ 24V Alternator
Mounted above the 12v ALT. Only problem is having to remove the radiator hose to change belts. Better spot than under the P/S pump. As alt's aren't fans of mud and dirty water.
