was just wondering if anyone has any problems with the radius arm mounts tearing off the diff housing, any help and experiences much appreciated

i flog the shit out of mine and it is fine... ive seen the pics on lcool and they all have different mounts than the ones i have on my diff... i dont know why as i havent changed the front diff or modified it.

ive only seen 105 landcruisers do it.
ive been told by other mechanics i know that they see it alot with cars running tough dog shocks.

id weld it up and plate it both sides.

yeah its happened alot to a makes 80 with a 6 inch lift, not running tough dogs, got the efs extreme shocks, its got me stuffed why she broke but guess thats what happens when you lift trucks aye.
helps working in a maching shop though i guess

do you have any caster correction for the 4" lift, im taking a wild guess but if you didnt have the correction you would be putting the load in the wrong places even more when it is flexed up.

i found that running the castor correction in a poly bush would cause all the stress to go straight into the mounts and cause it to crack in the middle. The rubber bushes allowed for more flex within the bush before putting the load into mounts.

i only have the 3degree correction bushes, that makes sense with the different pressure spots, looking a getting some snake dropped arms to suit a 6inch lift, incase the urge to go higher comes :armsup: :armsup:
