Any problems with allied savvana beadlocks with maxxis

Post by thunder »

Has anyone had problems with these wheels with maxxis treps on.???????
Had a guy at willowglen come up to me and say his mate had problems with the inner bead letting go with maxxis treps on.

Now i went for a practise on saturday with maxxis treps 40s and lost the bead on the rear at 6psi and then the front at 12psi

then later in the day lost 5 nuts off the front. looks like the back of the rim does not sit flush . rim has 6 (like tags) that look like they shouldnt be there.

Have not taken the tyres off yet(raining here) when i get a chance i will get them all off.

Get in contact with Marty or Justin from Allied. There definitely is a problem, it isn't just your set. They are aware of this, so give them a bell.
