I would be interested in competing if someone needed another vehicle. The only thing is the Cruiser does not have a roll cage, window nets. THe window nets I could sort out if necessary but no time for a roll cage. It is a full bodied 80 series with a Milford Cargo barrier (so some additional protection).

The cruiser is well set up lockers, stock highmount winch, sliders, bar work, 35s MTR or 38s on bead locked rims and I know how to drive it :)

So if a Roll cage is not required I would be willing to fill a gap if needed.
Cheers,
Dwayne

Hey mate, roll cages aren't required for this event as it's designed to get new competitors into the sport,
if you want to send me a text or give me a call on 0434955827 I can get your details and let you know which teams are looking for a 3rd car, at this stage there's 3 or 4 teams that need a third car, so I dare say if youbare keen you will be racing at Lowmead!

Hey mate,

just email Troy T his email is troyten@tpg.com.au and he will email through a copy tonight, all team captains should have recieved the rules and regs, but I'm guessing because you're in a different township you haven't had a chance to read through them?

That last reply from me was for Rowley,

Shandog, you could do the event with what you have there, but I'm pretty sure the rules require a solid roof (certain thickness plate) and proper recovery points would be required aswell.

So maybe just come down and check out the event and have a look over the jeeps competing (4 or 5 of them) and get some ideas maybe?

You'll have a ball Horny! This event is a blast! And it's great to see another cruiser racing!

Gudge I don't think he will make it. ATM it's missing a winch bar, he needs to
get a winch built , recovery points on the front & possibly rear, all the wiring for a winch, 24v and batteries for said winch, plus he probably can't afford to put fuel in it to tow it Down :D

Yeah tried to get him to race with us but like mosko said has got too much to do to get it ready.

Imagine two diesels and a 4.8 turbo in a team, he might as well pull us around the flat track and still be faster.

I'm pretty sure they do mate, if you have time I'd be adding something stronger and with a bigger hole, as your navies will find it's a bit of a bugger to get the to get the shackles through If you use a size bigger size or if the recover point gets a bit bent.
